The processing of “submerged” glass allows, starting from solid or blown glass, to superimpose multiple layers of different colors in the work, creating a magnificent optical effect.

It is a technique born by chance in the 1950s by master glassmaker Archimede Seguso, when he was looking for new solutions to incorporate complex decorations into glass without compromising its transparency.

This innovation allowed the creation of new works and modern designs, a sort of “vase within a vase”, experimenting with new shapes and colors.

This particular technique represents the top of Venetian craftsmanship that only the master glassmakers of Murano can achieve.
